What You’ll Be Doing
You will provide dedicated support in the Chemistry department, working alongside teaching staff to enhance student learning. Your responsibilities will include assisting with practical experiments, preparing resources, helping pupils understand core concepts, and supporting classroom activities. You will also contribute to planning and leading small group interventions, helping students to overcome learning barriers and build confidence in science.
Ideal Candidate
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Chemistry or a related science discipline
- Passionate about working in education and supporting young learners
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, patient, and supportive approach to assisting pupils
- Experience in a school or classroom environment is desirable but not essential
