What You’ll Be Doing
As a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the science department and support the delivery of engaging and effective science lessons, particularly in Chemistry. You will assist teachers with lesson preparation, laboratory activities and classroom management, and you will work one-to-one or in small groups with students who may need additional support. You’ll contribute to raising achievement and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual with a strong academic background in Chemistry or a related science discipline. You may be a recent graduate, early career teacher or someone looking to transition into education. You should have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning. Previous experience working with secondary school pupils is desirable but not essential.
