What You’ll Be Doing
As a Graduate Mentor, you will provide academic and pastoral support to KS5 students, helping them stay on track with their studies and meet their goals. Your responsibilities will include one-to-one mentoring sessions, small group tutoring, and supporting classroom teachers to raise achievement. You will play a key role in building student confidence, promoting independent study strategies, and offering focused guidance in subjects where students need extra support.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for education. You will have a confident and approachable manner, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. You should be reliable, organised, and enthusiastic about making a difference in students' lives. Prior experience working with young people, either in education or a related setting, is advantageous but not essential.
