Elite Sixth Form in Lewisham is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Mentor to support students across Key Stage 5. Working closely with students, staff and pastoral leads, you will play an important role in raising attainment, boosting confidence and guiding students through their academic journey. What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring for students, focusing on academic development and personal growth
- Supporting sixth form learners with revision planning, study skills and university or career preparation
- Liaising with subject teachers and the pastoral team to track and monitor student progress
- Delivering intervention programmes to help students meet their academic targets
- Serving as a role model, promoting a positive learning atmosphere
Ideal Candidate
- A university graduate, ideally with a strong academic background
- Passionate about education, mentoring and student achievement
- Confident, resilient and able to build relationships with learners aged 16–18
- A positive communicator with excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience in a school or youth-focused setting is desirable, but not essential
