What You’ll Be Doing
As a Graduate Mentor, you will provide day-to-day academic support and pastoral mentoring for sixth form students. You'll work closely with teaching staff, supporting learners in both 1:1 and small group sessions, helping them meet academic goals and improve study habits. Your role will also involve guiding students through the UCAS process, offering advice on careers and university applications, and encouraging personal growth. Developing positive relationships with students and acting as a role model will be key to your success.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a motivated and academically strong graduate with a genuine interest in education and student development. You should be a confident communicator, capable of inspiring and guiding young people. Previous experience working with young people in any setting – mentoring, tutoring or volunteering – is highly desirable. A proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and the ability to build rapport quickly will set you apart.
