What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maths Tutor at Silverwood Grammar School, you will provide tailored one-on-one tutoring support to students in Key Stages 4 and 5. Your focus will be on consolidating classroom learning, building confidence, and preparing students for upcoming GCSE and A-Level exams. You will monitor and track student progress in collaboration with classroom teachers and contribute to creating a strong foundation in mathematics for each learner.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a personable and knowledgeable maths tutor with:
- A strong academic background in mathematics or a related subject
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching mathematics at KS4 and/or KS5
- Excellent communication skills and a learner-centred approach
- A passion for helping students gain confidence and reach their potential
- The ability to adapt lessons and approaches to meet individual student needs
