Silverwood Grammar School, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Harrow, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Tutor to support pupils across Key Stages 4 and 5. What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver targeted one-to-one and small group tutoring sessions in maths
- Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff
- Tailor sessions to meet the individual learning needs of students
- Work collaboratively with the maths department to maintain consistency in support
Ideal Candidate
- Strong academic background in maths or a related subject
- Previous experience as a tutor or offering academic support in a school setting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
- Organised, proactive, and committed to improving student outcomes
- Confidence working with students at KS4 and KS5 level
