Silverwood Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Maths Tutor to join our high-achieving team. What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be providing targeted one-on-one maths tutoring to students preparing for GCSE and A-level assessments. You will support pupils’ understanding of key mathematical concepts, assist them with revision strategies, and help track and improve their academic progress. You’ll work closely with the core maths team to identify individual learning needs and ensure tutoring sessions align with the wider curriculum.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a tutor who is passionate about mathematics and genuinely enjoys helping students achieve their full potential. You should have strong subject knowledge up to A-level Maths and some experience working with secondary-age learners. A flexible and patient approach, alongside excellent communication skills, is essential. Prior tutoring or teaching experience in a school or educational setting is preferred but not required.
