What You’ll Be Doing
As a Maths Tutor, you will provide tailored, one-on-one support to students needing additional help with Key Stage 4 and 5 mathematics. You will assist in preparing students for GCSE and A-level exams, helping them build confidence and master complex topics. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to track progress, adapt interventions, and ensure each student receives the support they need to excel.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics, ideally up to A-level
- Experience working with secondary school students or in a tutoring capacity
- Patient, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with young people
- Reliable, well-organised, and committed to student achievement
- Hold a degree in a relevant subject; QTS is desirable but not essential
