What You’ll Be Doing
As our new Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that stretch, challenge and inspire all learners. You will teach a range of topics at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, preparing students for success in GCSE and A-Level examinations. Beyond the classroom, you will also act as a mentor, encouraging students to pursue excellence in science and explore pathways for further study or careers in STEM. Active participation in departmental meetings, school events and ongoing CPD is expected.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified teacher of Science with a solid understanding of curriculum requirements at KS4 and KS5. You will be passionate about science and skilled in creating a classroom environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically and grow in confidence. Experience teaching in a secondary school setting and a proven track record of strong student progress is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills, good subject knowledge, and the ability to motivate and mentor young people will be key to your success.
