What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured science lessons that stimulate curiosity and foster a love of learning. The role also involves mentoring students, supporting them through their academic journey, and contributing to departmental planning and assessment. You’ll play a proactive role in extra-curricular activities and enrichment sessions that enhance the science curriculum.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge across the science disciplines
- A passion for helping students reach their academic and personal potential
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- A commitment to personal development and collaborative working
