What You’ll Be Doing:
You will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their social, emotional and mental health. Guided by the SENCO and class teachers, you’ll implement tailored strategies, provide 1:1 and small group interventions, and create a calm, structured learning environment. You’ll monitor pupil progress and collaborate with parents, carers and external agencies to support the child’s holistic development.

Ideal Candidate:
You will have experience working with children who have SEMH needs, either in a mainstream or specialist setting. Patience, emotional resilience and outstanding communication skills are essential. You’ll be proactive, compassionate and driven to support every child’s right to access a high-quality education. A relevant qualification in SEN support or child development is desirable but not essential for the right candidate with experience.
