What You’ll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant at Maplewood Academy, you will be supporting classroom teachers with the day-to-day delivery of lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will work with small groups and individual pupils, including those with additional educational needs, to help them achieve their learning objectives. Your role will also involve lesson preparation support, classroom management assistance, and contributing to an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an approachable and motivated individual who is passionate about education. You may be a recent graduate considering a future career in teaching, or someone with prior experience supporting young people. Strong communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude are essential. Experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
