What You’ll Be Doing
As a Teaching Assistant at Maplewood Academy, you will support classroom teaching and help prepare engaging and effective lessons under the guidance of class teachers. You will work with pupils across a range of abilities in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, offering academic and pastoral support. Your role will involve one-to-one and small group interventions, helping to create a positive learning environment for all students.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with secondary-aged pupils
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- A strong interest in education and supporting pupil progress
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
