Bethany is an academically strong and deeply compassionate aspiring Clinical Psychologist seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role from September 2025. With a Distinction at MSc level and a background in Education with Psychology, she brings both intellectual rigour and heartfelt commitment to supporting children with additional needs.
Bethany is particularly passionate about working with pupils with SEMH needs and Autism, where she can apply her knowledge of trauma, attachment and child development in a meaningful school-based context. Experience Summary
Bethany combines strong academic knowledge with hands-on experience supporting children and young people across therapeutic and early years settings. - Completed a placement at a Trauma Recovery Centre, supporting therapists, managing sensitive information, and observing clinical assessments within a highly safeguarding-focused environment.
- Developed a strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches, attachment theory, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences through both academic study and practical exposure.
- Works as an Agency Nursery Nurse across a range of settings, supporting children aged 9 months to 4 years with their emotional, social and cognitive development.

- Supported a foster child within her family home, gaining first-hand insight into trauma-related triggers, emotional regulation needs, and the importance of routine and stability.
