Charlotte – Primary ECT | University of Exeter | Available for September
Charlotte is a motivated and enthusiastic Primary ECT currently completing her PGCE with QTS through the Exeter Consortium and the University of Exeter. Through her training across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, she has developed strong classroom practice, curriculum knowledge and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
Charlotte is committed to creating inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environments where all pupils feel valued, challenged and confident to succeed. She is now seeking her first permanent teaching position where she can continue developing as a practitioner while making a positive contribution to pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

Experience Summary
Charlotte has developed valuable classroom experience through her teacher training placements across KS1 and KS2, gaining experience in adaptive teaching, literacy interventions and supporting pupils with additional needs. Her previous professional experience has also strengthened her communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
- Currently completing a PGCE with QTS, teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Plans, delivers and evaluates lessons across the primary curriculum
- Adapts teaching to support pupils with SEND and EHCPs
- Delivers phonics and guided reading interventions to develop literacy and reading confidence
- Uses targeted questioning, scaffolding, live marking and formative assessment to support pupil progress
- Creates adapted learning resources including visual prompts, sentence stems and pre-teaching activities
- Works collaboratively with mentors, teaching assistants and school staff to enhance outcomes for pupils
- Developed strong communication and organisational skills through roles within local government and customer-facing environments
- Experience supporting young carers through voluntary work, demonstrating empathy, patience and pastoral awareness
