Georgie is a Fabulous Trainee Primary Teacher, Now looking for an EYFS or KS1 ECT role for September
Georgie is a warm, reflective and ambitious trainee teacher currently completing her Primary PGCE with QTS at the University of East London, specialising in EYFS and KS1 . She is seeking a permanent ECT role from September 2026, where she can build strong foundations in phonics, early reading and early mathematics within a nurturing, well-structured classroom. Georgie combines genuine care for young learners with high expectations, clear routines and a calm, professional presence.
She is excited to embed herself in a supportive EYFS or KS1 team and grow into a thoughtful, dedicated practitioner who contributes fully to school life.

- BA (Hons) Photography: University of Brighton - Upper Second Class
- UAL Foundation Diploma, Fine Art, Photography & Design: Leeds College of Art - Distinction
- UAL Drawing Foundation Diploma : Leeds College of Art - Distinction
- A Levels: Art (A*), Photography (A*), Geography (A)
- GCSEs: 9 (A*–B), including English, Maths and Science
Experience Summary
Georgie is currently undertaking her teacher training placement at West Ham Church of England Primary School, where she has planned and delivered lessons across English, maths, phonics and the wider curriculum . Her practice is rooted in careful scaffolding, strong assessment for learning and adaptive teaching, ensuring that all pupils – including those with SEND and EAL – are supported to succeed. Prior to teaching, Georgie held senior leadership roles in retail, managing teams and complex projects, experience that now underpins her organisation, resilience and calm classroom leadership.
- Planned and delivered sequenced lessons in phonics, English, maths and foundation subjects, using modelling, guided practice and repetition to secure understanding
- Established clear routines and positive behaviour strategies to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
