Emotionally Intelligent SEN Teaching Assistant | MSc Psychology | 1:1 Mental Health & Advocacy Experience

Hellen is a thoughtful and emotionally intelligent SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong academic grounding in Psychology and hands-on experience supporting young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. Now completing her MSc in Psychology at City, University of London, she combines evidence-based understanding with a calm, trauma-informed presence.

Passionate about empowering young people to feel heard and capable, Hellen is seeking a full-time SEN or SEMH-focused role where she can contribute meaningfully to pupil wellbeing while progressing towards a long-term career in counselling and youth mental health services.

  • Provide one-to-one mentoring and advocacy for young people navigating mental health and social care systems through her role with the UK Young Advisors Programme.
