Joni – History ECT | University of Newcastle | PGCE & QTS (Expected July 2026)
Joni is an enthusiastic and highly capable History teacher currently completing her PGCE and QTS through The Buckingham Partnership and Bath Spa University. Having taught History across KS3, KS4 and KS5 in both comprehensive and selective grammar school settings, she has developed a flexible and adaptable teaching style that enables all learners to engage with and enjoy the subject. Passionate about enquiry-led learning, Joni encourages students to think critically, analyse evidence and develop independent historical understanding.
Alongside her classroom experience, she brings extensive pastoral, mentoring and coaching experience, making her a well-rounded educator who is committed to supporting students both academically and personally.
