Laura is a passionate and reflective History trainee currently completing her PGCE in History at the University of Chichester and preparing to begin her ECT induction in September 2026 . Experience Summary

Laura is currently completing her PGCE placements in secondary schools, teaching across KS3 and KS4. She has developed a thoughtful and structured approach to lesson planning, rooted in strong subject knowledge and a belief that History should be both academically rigorous and accessible to all learners . Her teaching is enquiry-led and discussion-focused, encouraging pupils to question interpretations, evaluate sources critically and make connections between past and present.
