Aspiring Primary Teacher | Graduate Teaching Assistant | EYFS–KS2 Support
Maryem is a passionate and purposeful graduate who is eager to launch her teaching career by securing a Primary Teaching Assistant role from September. With a strong academic background in Accounting and Finance and a clear ambition to complete funded teacher training, she brings a calm, confident, and committed approach to supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
Maryem has gained valuable classroom and 1:1 experience through roles in both primary and secondary settings, and she is particularly driven by the opportunity to contribute to children’s educational progress and wellbeing in a nurturing school environment.

Experience Summary
Maryem has consistently sought out opportunities to work with children and young people, demonstrating long-term dedication and a proactive attitude towards learning and development. Her experience spans early years to secondary pupils and includes classroom-based support, individual tutoring, and mentoring.
- Supported a Year 2 class as a Teaching Assistant at Gonville Academy, assisting with lesson preparation, playground supervision, PE lessons and school trips.
- Provided targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils needing additional help, including a child with English as an additional language, using encouragement and creativity to boost engagement.
- Volunteered as a mentor and tutor for Year 10 pupils at Norbury High School for Girls, creating lesson plans and tracking progress to help raise attainment and confidence.
- Delivered long-term 11+ tutoring for younger siblings, designing engaging learning activities and preparing them effectively for entrance exams.
