Megan – Religious Studies ECT | Teach First Trainee | Available September 2026

Megan is a passionate and reflective Religious Studies teacher currently completing the Teach First Leadership Development Programme while working towards QTS and a PGCE. With a Bachelor of Theology and more than ten years of experience leading educational, pastoral and safeguarding provision for children and young people, she brings a unique combination of strong subject expertise, classroom practice and pastoral leadership.

Currently teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and GCSE, Megan is seeking an ECT Year 1 position from September 2026 where she can continue developing her teaching career while making a positive contribution to both the academic and wider life of a school.

  • Established effective behaviour systems and classroom routines that improved engagement and reduced behaviour incidents
  • Adapts learning effectively for pupils with SEND, EAL needs and literacy barriers
