Tamanna is a newly qualified Primary Teacher with a First-Class degree in Primary Education with QTS from the University of Greenwich. While she prepares to begin her ECT year in 2026, she is keen to gain further in-school experience as a Teaching Assistant.
Calm, dependable, and deeply committed to children’s progress, Tamanna brings hands-on experience supporting early years and KS1 learners, particularly those with SEND and EAL. She is excited to contribute to a welcoming and purposeful school environment where she can support both pupils and staff.

Experience Summary
Tamanna has completed three in-depth placements in London primary schools, gaining confidence with phonics, classroom routines, and pupil wellbeing in both EYFS and KS1. Her training has strengthened her classroom leadership, planning, and communication skills—making her a capable and proactive TA who is ready to step in and support from day one.
- Taught a Year 1 class independently for 5 weeks during her final placement, planning and delivering lessons in English, maths, phonics, and topic subjects using Talk for Writing and White Rose Maths.
- Supported Nursery and Reception pupils in early learning through play-based and adult-guided activities, building a strong foundation in EYFS pedagogy.
- Adapted learning tasks for SEND and EAL pupils across all placements, using visual aids, simplified language, and personalised support.
- Confident in setting up engaging learning environments, managing classroom routines, and supporting pupil transitions throughout the school day.
- Experienced in creating tailored resources, handling pupil records, and contributing to event planning such as seasonal celebrations and themed learning days.
