What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Supporting learning activities and lesson access across the curriculum
- Working alongside the SENCO and class teachers to implement support strategies
- Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and confidence
- Assisting with EHCP targets and monitoring progress
- Creating a safe, engaging space for all pupils to thrive
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant For this Bexley School:
- A graduate with a 2:1 degree or above – psychology or education background advantageous
- Passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with SEN
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable to varied classroom needs
- Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Committed to a long-term role with a desire to grow professionally
- Experience with SEN (personal or professional) is highly desirable
