Academic Mentor – Outstanding East London Secondary School

As an Academic Mentor you will work with students across KS3 and KS4, helping them overcome barriers, boost progress and exceed expectations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading 1:1 and small group interventions in core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Supporting exam preparation, revision and stretch opportunities
• Collaborating with teachers to refine resources and track progress
• Engaging with students, building relationships and encouraging aspiration
• Analysing data, reporting on outcomes and adapting support accordingly

Ideal Academic Mentor for this East London School:

• Graduate with strong academic credentials (2:1 degree preferred)
• Experience in tutoring, mentoring or supporting young people beneficial
• High levels of motivation, adaptability and resilience
• Passionate about educational achievement and pupil potential
