Role as an Autism Support Assistant
Working within the school's autism base, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with ASC
- Assisting in lesson delivery and adapting materials to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
- Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence in students
- Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to deliver tailored interventions
