What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting English teachers with lesson delivery, marking, and classroom management
- Leading small group reading and writing interventions, especially for GCSE preparation
- Offering 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs in English
- Encouraging student engagement, discussion, and independent thinking
- Assisting with creative writing clubs, reading groups or enrichment projects
- Helping foster a love of language and literature throughout the school
Ideal English Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Ealing School:
- A degree in English Literature, English Language or a related humanities subject
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about education and supporting young people’s development
- Previous experience working with teenagers (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools) is a bonus
