Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Role | Inclusive Southwark Primary School

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs
- Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to deliver targeted interventions
- Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH needs
- Promoting communication, social development, and emotional regulation
- Helping to implement behaviour strategies and learning plans
- Contributing to a calm, safe and inclusive classroom environment
Ideal Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant for This Southwark School:
- Graduate with a 2:1 or above and a strong academic background
- Genuinely passionate about SEN and inclusive education
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive in a classroom setting
- Previous experience with children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable (e.g. in schools, tutoring, care, youth work, or voluntary roles)
- Available full-time from September 2025 through July 2026
- Eager to gain hands-on SEN experience before progressing into teacher training, educational psychology, or a related field
