What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting subject teachers across the curriculum, including English, maths, science and humanities
- Providing 1:1 and small group academic support
- Supporting students with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs within the classroom
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation
- Preparing lesson resources and contributing to a positive, focused learning environment
- Assisting with enrichment activities, homework clubs or mentoring sessions
Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Ealing School:
- Recent graduate with strong academic credentials and a desire to work in education
- Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with teenagers
- Positive, proactive and reliable, with a can-do attitude
- Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools) is desirable
- Available to commit full-time from September through July
