What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting subject teachers across the curriculum, including English, maths, science and humanities
  • Providing 1:1 and small group academic support
  • Supporting students with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs within the classroom
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation
  • Preparing lesson resources and contributing to a positive, focused learning environment
  • Assisting with enrichment activities, homework clubs or mentoring sessions

Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant For This Ealing School:

  • Recent graduate with strong academic credentials and a desire to work in education
  • Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with teenagers
  • Positive, proactive and reliable, with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, schools) is desirable
