What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting class teachers in delivering lessons across a range of subjects
  • Providing 1:1 and small group academic support to students
  • Assisting pupils with SEN, EAL, or emotional/behavioural needs
  • Helping with classroom preparation, resource development, and progress tracking
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement
  • Participating in school activities including clubs, revision sessions, and enrichment events

Ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant for This Southwark School:

  • Graduate with a 2:1 or above in any subject (STEM, English, Humanities or Psychology highly valued)
  • Passionate about working with teenagers and helping them succeed
  • Calm, confident communicator who can motivate and inspire students
  • Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or working with young people is a plus
  • Available full-time from September 2025 through July 2026
