What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting class teachers in the delivery of lessons across Years 3 to 6
• Running 1:1 and small group sessions to reinforce learning in maths, English and other subjects
• Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines
• Supporting children with varying abilities, including those with SEN or EAL
• Helping prepare learning materials, displays and resources
• Promoting confidence, motivation and independent learning in pupils

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant For This Tower Hamlets School:

• A graduate or experienced teaching assistant with a genuine passion for education
• Confident, patient and proactive in supporting pupils aged 7–11
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with children (e.g. in schools, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering) is desirable
• Committed to full-time, term-time work from September through July
• Looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before teacher training or further study
