Your Role as Lead Practitioner of Science:

As Lead Practitioner, you will work closely with SLT and the Science department to deliver outstanding teaching and drive curriculum improvements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Teaching Science across KS3-KS5, with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
  • Coaching and mentoring teachers to improve science teaching and learning
  • Leading STEM-focused extracurricular activities and outreach projects
  • Developing practical-based teaching strategies to enhance student engagement
  • Supporting curriculum development and GCSE & A-Level performance

  • A qualified Science teacher (QTS) with significant KS3-KS5 teaching experience
