Your Role as a KS2 Teaching Assistant
In this pivotal role, you’ll support learners across Key Stage 2 – helping to develop reading fluency, mathematical reasoning, and essential study skills. You’ll work closely with class teachers to ensure every child has the tools to succeed, while gaining valuable experience for a career in education.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting pupils in class during core English and Maths lessons
- Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 literacy or numeracy support
- Assisting with classroom organisation and lesson preparation

- Supporting the emotional and social development of children
