Your Role as an SEN Teacher
As the lead SEN Teacher in the ARP, you will shape the direction and delivery of tailored support for a small group of children with additional needs. You will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive learning environment that meets a range of learning profiles and enables every child to thrive.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to pupils in the ARP
- Creating and implementing EHCP-driven learning plans
- Collaborating with SEN TAs and external specialists
- Monitoring pupil progress and adjusting support strategies accordingly
- Supporting wider SEN practice across the school where required
