What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 classroom support to a pupil with SEN
- Supporting learning across the curriculum, especially in literacy and numeracy
- Helping to manage behaviour and emotional regulation
- Implementing personalised learning strategies under guidance from the SENCo
- Collaborating with staff and external professionals to review progress
- Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment
Ideal SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant For this Newham School:
- A recent graduate with a passion for SEN or child development
- Prior experience supporting children with additional needs (preferred)
- Calm, patient, and empathetic in challenging situations
- Proactive and able to work independently when required
- Committed to working full-time for the academic year
