What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group sessions in English or Maths
- Supporting students both onsite and in the community
- Collaborating with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
- Planning and adapting sessions based on individual needs and EHCPs
- Monitoring progress, setting achievable goals, and celebrating small wins
- Using restorative and trauma-informed approaches to build trust
- Promoting student re-engagement with learning and boosting confidence
Ideal Qualified Teacher For This Camden Role:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs welcome with the right mindset
- Subject background in English or Maths preferred
- Experience working with students with SEMH or in alternative provision
- Flexible, emotionally resilient, and patient
- Comfortable working both in a classroom and offsite
- Able to form meaningful, professional relationships with hard-to-reach students
