Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1)

This is a dedicated 1:1 role working closely with a verbal Year 3 girl with autism, currently working at an early developmental stage (12–24 months). You will provide structured support and encourage learning, communication, and independence throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the pupil in class, across activities and transitions
  • Implementing structured routines and personalised learning
  • Encouraging verbal communication and social engagement
  • Working with the SENCO and class teacher to track progress
  • Supporting sensory and emotional regulation needs with care and consistency
