What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with EHCPs or additional needs
 - Supporting children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or SEMH challenges
 - Assisting with personalised interventions and adapted classroom resources
 - Encouraging social skills, independence, and emotional regulation
 - Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCO to monitor progress
 - Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
 
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant for This Waltham Forest School:
- Graduate or experienced TA passionate about supporting children with SEN
 - Kind, calm and consistent with a flexible and proactive approach
 - Strong communication and relationship-building skills
 - Previous experience with children with SEND (e.g. in schools, care, tutoring) is desirable
 - Committed to full-time, term-time work from September to July
