What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Driving and evolving the school’s SEND strategy for maximum student outcomes
  • Coordinating EHCP reviews and leading annual review meetings with multi-agency input
  • Developing personalised interventions and monitoring their success
  • Supporting, coaching, and upskilling classroom teachers and support staff
  • Building powerful partnerships with parents and external professionals
  • Analysing SEND data to create actionable improvement plans
  • Championing a fully inclusive culture across all key stages

Ideal SENCO for this Southwark School:

  • UK-trained teachers with QTS and track record of SEND excellence
  • Demonstrable experience as a SENCO or extensive SEND leadership exposure
  • Holds (or willing to work towards) NASENCO qualification
