Role as a Speech and Language Assistant
As a Speech and Language Assistant, you’ll work within the school’s dedicated Autism unit, supporting students with a range of communication needs. Key Responsibilities Include:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support as a Speech and Language Assistant

• Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and external therapists
• Observing and recording progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Supporting daily routines within the Autism base as a consistent Speech and Language Assistant presence
