Your Role as a Graduate Behaviour Specialist
As a Graduate Behaviour Specialist, you’ll play a central role in supporting students who are finding school life emotionally or behaviourally difficult. Working closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and external agencies, you’ll help pupils regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and develop positive social skills.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behaviour or emotional needs
- Implementing personalised behaviour intervention plans
- Supporting the delivery of social and emotional learning (SEL) strategies
- Acting as a positive role model and trusted adult
- Supporting classroom teachers with behaviour management techniques
- Helping to monitor and track progress in engagement and emotional regulation

- A graduate in psychology or a related discipline (2:1 or above preferred)
- A patient, calm, and resilient individual with a strong interest in child development
- A Graduate Behaviour Specialist who is reliable, empathetic, and emotionally intelligent

- Commitment to full-time work from September 2025 to July 2026
