What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students aged 11–16 in an alternative provision environment
- Delivering academic and emotional support 1:1 and in small groups
- Assisting with positive behaviour strategies and structured routines
- Working under the guidance of SENCOs, therapists, and school leaders
- Supporting re-engagement with learning and classroom participation
- Promoting student confidence, resilience, and independence
Ideal Learning Support Assistant For this Bexley School:
- Graduate with a degree in psychology, education, or related subject
- Previous experience with SEND or SEMH is desirable but not essential
- Calm, confident, and committed to long-term development
- Able to build strong, consistent relationships with challenging pupils
- Reliable and ready to commit for the full academic year
