What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting the Year 2 class teacher with daily teaching and classroom routines
• Leading small group activities in literacy and numeracy
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils needing additional academic or emotional support
• Contributing to pupil assessments and progress tracking
• Encouraging curiosity and independence among pupils
• Collaborating with staff across KS1 and SEN departments
• Taking part in school events, training, and enrichment activities

Ideal Year 2 Teaching Assistant For this Hounslow School:

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher
• A strong academic background, especially in English and Maths
• A passion for education, teaching, or child development
• Energetic, positive, and confident communicator
• Committed to full-time work from September 2025–July 2026
• Prior experience working with children is desirable but not essential
