What You’ll Be Doing
As a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, you will work with the Science Lead and class teachers to support pupils’ understanding and progress in chemistry and other science subjects. You’ll help prepare resources, assist with practical experiments, lead small groups, and offer individual support where necessary. The role encompasses assisting both inside and outside the classroom to ensure high-quality learning experiences for all pupils. You may also take part in enrichment activities and contribute to the continuous development of the school’s science provision.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an individual with a passion for science and education. Ideally, you will hold a science-related degree or have prior experience in a teaching or learning support role. Strong communication, an organised approach, and the ability to build supportive relationships with young learners are essential.
