Silverwood Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Maths Tutor to support our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. What You’ll Be Doing
You will work closely with students to strengthen their mathematical understanding, provide structured revision support, and help prepare them for GCSE and A-Level examinations. This includes planning and delivering tailored tutoring sessions, tracking student progress and adapting strategies accordingly, and working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistency of curriculum support.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths up to A-Level
- Previous experience of tutoring or teaching in a secondary school setting
- A clear and engaging communication style
- The ability to inspire confidence and motivate students
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
